I am a Christian mama that is always trying to learn patience with my four delightful and sometimes “handful” of children under the age of 10. I am a teachable wife, always learning how to love better and move past selfishness. I am a storyteller, always trying to teach others how God is moving in our lives. If you would like to be a part of that journey, grab a hot beverage and relax into my blog and the Words of Jesus. In my humble opinion, we could all use a little more Jesus and hot tea.

“If we find ourselves with a desire that nothing in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that we were made for another world.”

C.S. Lewis

There are places where the veil between Heaven and Earth is thin. Where the beauty of a place, person, or moment is so breathtakingly splendid, Heaven’s glory leaks through. I’ve seen it in the wide open spaces of nature where the light touches everything you see; and I’ve seen it in the faces of my children. I’ve seen it in marriage and birth. When my breath and body pause because of such beauty. I wonder, how beautiful is the God who made all this? What a story he must have to tell. The place I was most surprised to see God through the cracks was in death and pain. How could I forget Jesus is a man of sorrows closely accustomed with the pain of this world? It is the cracks in the veil that remind me to be still and listen to the story he is writing for me. Will you join me in my journey and listen to the story he is writing for my life and yours.
